"I have always loved the intimacy found in sharing Classical music in a home setting. In the 19th century, amateur music-making was the primary means of sharing the art, making Classical music readily accessible to the Bourgeoisie. I find that nothing makes music more relatable than experiencing it in such a personal and familiar environment.
As a performer, I am passionate the opportunity to connect with my audience in such a unique way!" - Sophia
Christmas Concert on the Beach 2023
Thank you for your concert last month. It was the perfect way to celebrate the Christmas Season.
You are awesome!

Our daughter, Sophia, performed a medley of Christmas music at our condo in Panama City Beach, Fl. We were overjoyed at sharing her gifts and talents with our friends here and to bring Christmas cheer to our community during this 2023 Christmas week. We are looking forward to her next performance here in which she will be playing classical music from various composers. Our friends were thrilled to have experienced her repertoire in person!

"Our Groupmuse crowd had the great pleasure of hearing Sophia Pileggi play at my home in 2020. Sophia is a phenomenal pianist, bringing not only expertise and of course talent, but also creativity and daring to her artistry. Her program was chosen not for ease of success but for challenge and interest, which says everything about her artistic integrity. An extra added (and unexpected) bonus to having Sophia play was meeting her close-knit family, several of whom drove into Baltimore to hear her play. The entire package made for a very memorable evening of great music, warmth, and conviviality that will not soon be forgotten by those lucky enough to be in attendance.
We wish Sophia the very best in her growing career and hope to have the good fortune to hear her play again in the near future. Oh, and congratulations to Sophia on her recent marriage!" - Betty Cherniak
“In preparation for her Masters Piano Performance Recital, we hosted Sophia for a concert at our home in March of 2017. We pulled out all the stops for an exciting evening: black tie attire, champagne and heavy hors d’oeuvres for thirty people. It was an evening to remember! Sophia performed her full Masters program from Scarlatti and Beethoven to Brahms and Scriabin. She is an electric and passionate performer with incredible technique made even more compelling by the intimacy of a home concert.
We loved the experience somuch we did it again in the Fall of 2019 as Sophia was preparing for the International Cochran competition in Poland. This time we made it casual, but her performance still sparkled and the closeness of a home concert cannot be beat. To be only feet away from the pianist as she plays and then have the opportunity for real conversation afterward is something only a home concert can achieve. We hope to be able to host Sophia again!” - Megan & Arnie Gaus
